My father was a cabinet maker, but he also raised sheep. Spring was the best time because that was when the lambs were born. If a ewe gave birth to twins or triplets, she sometimes wouldn't accept all her lambs. When that happened, we would have to bottle feed the lambs she wouldn't care for. Bottle feeding lambs was one of my favorite things to do.
